Life Transitions

Change is a part of life.

Sometimes we have a choice like finding a new job, going off to college or moving and—sometimes we don't—such as losing a loved one, getting laid-off or being confronted with a serious illness.

Whatever the source, your life transition may cause some confusion, discomfort, and anxiety. Therapy can help you navigate transitions so you can learn and grow from them.

Anxiety

Is "what if it doesn't work out or something bad happens?" one of the first questions you ask yourself when you think about doing something new?

Do you lay awake at night with racing thoughts?

Does your anxiety stop you from doing things that you are interested in?

Anxiety is one of the most common conditions that people experience. The good news is that it is very treatable.

Together we can identify ways to help you manage your anxiety and move forward in life.

Caregiver Support

Are you exhausted and overwhelmed from taking care of others?

Do you feel sad, angry, guilty or short-tempered much of the time?

When was the last time you did something just for you?

Self-care is one of the first things to fall by the wayside as you focus on everyone else's needs.

Therapy can be a safe space to process all that's going on and help chart a clear path forward for you and your family.

LGBTQ+

If you identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community or have a child or family member who does, you may want a safe space to talk about your fears, hopes and dreams.

I have been working with LGBTQ individuals, couples and families for more than 25 years.

Whoever you are and however you identify, you are awesome.
