It takes courage to reach out to a therapist.

Whether you've worked with someone before or you are starting out for the first time, I am so glad you're here.

Education and Experience

My career has been dedicated to helping clients meet life’s challenges and thrive.

I started my career in The Bronx, helping homebound seniors access needed services and providing them with emotional support.

Upon graduating from Hunter College School of Social Work, I was hired by a community-based agency to be the Founding Director of a program for LGBTQ+ Youth; Center Lane is Westchester County's first and still only—center for LGBTQ adolescents.

From there, I went on to build and manage several other programs, while also providing ongoing counseling to clients.

For more than a decade, I helped adults, ranging from recent college graduates to "mature" professionals, develop a job-search action plan. Clients find it very empowering to map out and implement the steps needed to achieve a professional or personal goal.

I have worked extensively with people with chronic illness as well as caregivers. I understand from a professional and personal vantage point, what it's like to care for a loved one with dementia. Support is so important for one's own mental well-being.

Approach and Philosophy

For more than 25 years, I have had the great privilege of helping clients navigate some of the most challenging times in their lives. Whether it is caring for or losing a loved one, dealing with family conflict, unemployment, marital tension or anxiety, I believe that therapy can help.

I am a solutions-oriented clinician. I tailor my approach to each client, working collaboratively to identify goals and develop strategies that will help you move forward. Trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for anxiety and depression, I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, as well my 25+ years of experience working with clients of all ages and varied backgrounds.

Duration of Therapy

Therapy can be short term or long term depending on your goals. Some clients come weekly for a few months, while others remain in therapy for much longer periods of time. We will check in regularly to see what feels right for you.
